An 11-year-old boy is in a critical condition following a two-vehicle collision in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.

The boy was a passenger in a blue Audi A3 which was in collision with a white Peugeot van on Lough Shore Road at around 1pm on Wednesday.

Police said the 23-year-old driver of the car and the 47-year-old driver of the van have been taken to hospital.

Their injuries are believed to be serious, but not life-threatening.

Inspector Keith Hicks wants to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw either the car or van travelling on the Lough Shore Road prior to the collision.
