A female sex offender who failed to notify police about a trip to Amsterdam has received a conditional discharge.
Erica Brooks-Orr, of Channing Street, Belfast, was supposed to inform the authorities about intended travel outside the UK.
The notification requirement applied to the 31-year-old under the terms of the Sexual Offences Act. No details were disclosed of the original case which led to the condition being imposed on her.
She appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court yesterday to say she had been away for seven days.
Brooks-Orr also confirmed that she is due to come off the sex offenders register in 2012.
After being given the details the judge gave her a six-month conditional discharge.
