Firefighters cut man from taxi following collision with lorry in Derry
Firefighters have rescued a man by cutting him from a taxi following a collision with a lorry.
Three fire appliances were sent to the scene of the two-vehicle crash at the Port Road, Strathfoyle area of the city on Wednesday morning.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 8.16am to a report of the crash.
One man in the taxi was rescued by Firefighters using cutting equipment while another man was assessed at the scene.
The man rescued from the taxi was taken to a nearby hospital for his injuries.
One male in the lorry was also treated at the scene by personnel from Northern Ireland ambulance.
Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the scene at 8:58am.
