Firefighters hurt in road crash

A number of firefighters have been injured after their fire engine crashed in Co Tyrone.

The vehicle from Clogher Station was involved in a traffic collision around 4pm on Saturday.

A spokesman from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) said the officers were treated by ambulance personnel.

He said contingency measures had been put in place to ensure fire cover remained unaffected by the incident.
