First Women's Caucus kicks off at Stormont
Female MLAs have joined forces to form Stormont's first Women's Caucus - and called for a "gender-based political revolution".
The group is the first cross-party body of its kind and aims at ending the long decades of male domination of politics.
The SDLP's Karen McKevitt said: "Even though women make up 51% of the population in Northern Ireland, only 21% of MLAs are female.
"That's just not good enough."
As the Assembly marked International Womens' Day, politicians enjoyed a kickabout to celebrate 40 years of women's football in Northern Ireland.
