Four people have been left very badly shaken after shots were fired at their house in Lurgan.

The incident at a house in the Princes Street area in the early hours of Monday morning is being treated as a hate crime.

At around 2.00am a number of shots were fired at the house.

Damage was caused to the front door and a living room window.

None of the four people in the house at the time were injured however they have been left very badly shaken.

Detective Sergeant Colin Patterson would appeal to anyone who may has information about this incident or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Detectives at Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 82 05/09/16.

 Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
