Four men armed with hammers attack Belfast house
A gang of masked men armed with hammers have forced their way into a house in west Belfast and threatened the female occupant.
The attack, at a property in Moyard Parade, was reported to police at 8pm on Friday.
According to the woman, the four masked men, who were carrying hammers, claimed to be from the IRA and warned her she had 24 hours to leave her home.
They smashed windows and furniture in the property.
The woman, aged in her 30's, was not injured but police said she was left shaken by her ordeal.
She says she has no idea why she was targeted.
Another woman and a 3-year-old boy, who were also in the house, were uninjured.
