Huge effort as more than 1,000 women take on Belfast Telegraph Runher challenge
More than 1,000 women of all ages have taken part in the latest Belfast Telegraph Runher challenge at Titanic Quarter.
Hundreds braved a brisk morning to take part in the 5k and 10k run around Titanic Quarter, with many wearing fancy dress for the occasion.
The race started off with the landmark Titanic Belfast building forming the backdrop, as runners headed around the Titanic Quarter, taking in the sights of Harland & Wolff's Samson and Goliath cranes, before heading off to Victoria Park.
The winner of the flat, fast and fun 10k run was Amy Bulman in a time of 38 mins 29s, followed by Louise Smith (39:09) and Laura Bickerstaff (40:11).
For the 5k race, the top spot went to Jessica Craig in 17mins 56s.
She was followed by Judith Lonnen (18:01) and Rachel Gibson (18:32).
