Funding boost for counselling groups

Counselling services credited with improving mental health are to benefit from a funding boost.

The Big Lottery Fund announced grants of £51,840 to six projects across Northern Ireland.

The Men's Action Network in Londonderry is using a grant of £9,325 to offer counselling sessions for men.

A grant of £10,000 is being used to run workshops and activities for women in North Down and Ards by the Kilcooley Women's Education Group.
