Furry pals hoping for a new home – together

BY LINDA STEWART

Staff at Dogs Trust Ballymena are hoping this Valentine's Day will bring good news for two devoted lifelong friends Sonny and Sally.

The inseperable pair are best friends who arrived at the Co Antrim shelter after their owner had to go into a residential home.

Staff are hoping that a visitor to the centre will fall in love with them both and give them a home together.

Sonny is a gorgeous two-year-old shih tzu and Sally is a three-year-old Yorkshire terrier.

Both dogs adore people but there is only one thing they hate – and that's being apart from each other.

Mary Carney, centre manager at Dogs Trust Ballymena, said: "They would be a wonderful addition to a quiet family. They are both very bright."

If you are interested in rehoming Sonny and Sally call Dogs Trust Ballymena on 028 2565 2977 or visit www.dogstrust.org.uk.
