Geordie Gilmore murder probe officers arrest man (39) in Carrick
Suspect released unconditionally
A 39-year-old man, arrested by police investigating the murder of ex-UDA boss Geordie Gilmore has been released unconditionally.
The suspect was arrested in Carrickfergus on Wednesday.
George 'Geordie', Gilmore (44) was hit in the neck, torso and leg when shots were fired into his car at point blank range in Pinewood Avenue in the Co Antrim town on March 13.
He passed away in hospital the next day. It's thought he was murdered as part of a loyalist feud.
A number of people have been arrested, however, no one has yet to be charged with the killing.
