Geordie Gilmore murder: Two arrested over killing of ex-UDA chief released
Two men arrested over the murder of George Gilmore have been released.
Known as Geordie the prominent loyalist was driving in his car when he was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday March 13.
The 44-year-old died in hospital the following day.
The men, aged 30 and 33 were arrested in the Carrickfergus area on Wednesday and were taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast for questioning.
They were released unconditionally on Thursday.
