Gerard 'Jock' Davison murder: Man released unconditionally
A 28-year-old man arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Gerard 'Jock' Davison has been released unconditionally.
The former IRA leader was shot dead in the Markets area of south Belfast.
The 47-year-old father-of three was on his way to his local community centre where he worked when he was attacked on Tuesday May 5.
Police said the man was arrested in "connection with the overall investigation".
He was taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning on Friday August 28 and has been released unconditionally.
