Calum Best was in Belfast yesterday as he promoted his new fragrance for Christmas shoppers.

The son of legendary footballer George Best posed for photographs and signed autographs for fans shopping at CastleCourt centre in Belfast.

The American-born model and reality TV star arrived in Northern Ireland to launch the Gold edition of his self-named men's aftershave at discount store Semichem.

He had come from a recent trip to England where he launched his first new gym, Best Life Gym, near his mother Angie Best's fitness centre at Henley-on-Thames.

The launch of the gym came just days after the 10th anniversary of his famous father's death on November 25, 2005.

His visit marked a brief break from his appearance in the reality TV project, Famously Single, currently under way in Los Angeles.
