The Greater Village Regeneration Trust hosted an information evening on Wednesday, February 2, in the Richview Regeneration Centre.

It offered information to residents living in the redevelopment area who may have experienced problems associated with break-ins and house stripping etc.

Residents were also given advice about general issues associated with moving home. In attendance were representatives from NIHE, PSNI and Belfast City Council to discuss all issues relating to the redevelopment. The Fire Service, Age NI, NIE and Phoenix Gas also contributed.

The main focus of interest for those who came through the doors was on the timescales for the redevelopment process and when tenants would be moved out of their homes.

Francis Brown, NIHE assistant district manager, talked about the redevelopment process and Seamus Sheehy, maintenance manager gave information on repair issues.
