This is the moment when a heroic Coastguard rescue team risked their lives to save a woman who got into difficulties at cliffs on Kenbane Head near Ballycastle.

The airborne rescuers - on board a Sikorsky S-92A chopper based at Prestwick near Ayr - were scrambled to the incident by Belfast coastguards.

The woman - who had been hurt after falling on the headland and suffering leg injuries - was winched up to the helicopter and then flown from the scene to hospital.

Cliff rescue teams from Ballycastle and fast response paramedics also raced to help the woman.

It's understood she is now being treated for her injuries at Causeway Hospital in Coleraine.
