Hillsborough stunner Sacha Livingstone is crowned Miss Ireland
Blonde beauty Sacha Livingstone, from Hillsborough, has been crowned the new Miss Ireland.
Sacha, a 20-year-old portrait artist, was announced as the winner last night at the star-studded Miss Ireland 2015 gala final.
Sacha will travel to Sanya, China, to represent Ireland in the prestigious Miss World Competition, in December.
The judging panel consisted of Irish celebrity blogger and columnist Suzanne Jackson, former Miss Ireland 2013 Aoife Walsh, Miss Ireland 2012 and mentor Rebecca Maguire, Vanity X Make-Up creator Debbie McQuillan, celebrity photographer Brian McEvoy, and topping the team was PR guru Valerie Roe.
There was no fear of any silences on stage from the 32 gorgeous contestants, on why they thought they should become Miss Ireland 2015.
Dancers and the fashion show added to the main highlights of the always intense show, hosted by returning judge and TV3’s very own Elaine Crowley, and renowned stage man and stylist Brendan Scully.
The red carpet entrance held even more celebrities, and household names such as; Siobhan Harris, Michelle McGrath, Mr.Ireland Karl Bowe, boy band Hometown, and Brook Wright, celebrating at the wine reception by McGuigan Wines, well into the night.
Entertainment for this star-studded audience saw no bounds on last night’s House of Cards themed stage, with a performance from The Voice of Ireland winner Patrick O’Donoghue really bringing the room to life.
But the top performances did not end there, with a stunning song session from Garth Brooks enthusiast and regular guest of television show “Nashville”, Pete Kennedy. This was followed by Italian singer Anastacia, Guilia!
After a long and extremely close judging, the final three girls; Miss Cork South, Aoife O'Sullivan, Miss Dublin West Aishlin Maxwell and Sacha were brought back to the stage for the crowning and winner’s package presentation, for Miss Ireland 2015.
Sacha will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Sanya in China, and a winner’s package.
She will receive; a full make-up brush range and sponsorship from Crowne Brush, a full wardrobe of dresses from So Amazing Fashions, a hair care package for a year from Gold Fever Hair Extensions, Professional makeup tuition and make-up for a year from Vanity X make-up, and professional nail care for a year all over the country from Nail Nerds Ireland for the year.
Along with all the beauty goodies, Sacha will be enjoying a weekend stay plus activities at The Adventure Islands, County Mayo, for her and her Friends worth €2,000.
The VIP after party was hosted in Buck's Townhouse, Leeson Street.
