A house has been daubed with paint and a car smashed in an attack hate crime in Larne.

It happened in the Herbert Avenue area of Larne in the early hours of Thursday August 4.

It was reported that at around 1.10am a number of windows of a car parked in the area were smashed. Damage was also caused to the front window and graffiti painted on the front door and wall of a house.

Inspector Heather Scott said: “This incident is being investigated as a hate crime and I am appealing for anyone with any information to contact police in Larne on 101 quoting reference 55 04/08/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
