House of fun as thousands enjoy Northern Ireland Countrysports Fair
From Scruff's dog show to a birds of prey display and ferret racing - it's all in a weekend event celebrating country sport and pursuits.
The Northern Ireland Countrysports Fair, which took place in Banbridge at the weekend, is a two-day event that saw thousands of visitors flock to Scarvagh House to celebrate the best of country life.
With more than 170 exhibitors, 1,000 competitors and 18,000 visitors passing through the gates to celebrate top country sports and pursuits, spectators were treated to some unusual sights and events.
Visitors watched the high-octane main arena attractions, falconry displays and a host of country sports events.
Other activities included gun dog tests, archery, clay pigeon shooting and angling.
Derek Lutton, event director for the Northern Ireland Countrysports Fair, said: "We were thrilled to come to our new home of Scarvagh House for the first time this year. It was the perfect backdrop."
