Illness sees Jim Neilly miss Ulster Rugby game
There were fears for the health of veteran BBC rugby and boxing commentator Jim Neilly last night after he failed to appear in the commentary box for Ulster's Pro12 game against Connacht.
BBC colleague Michael McNamee was behind the mic for the BBC at the game and described himself as a "late call-up", leaving viewers wondering about the health of the man who has become known as Ulster's Mr Rugby.
Last night, a source claimed that Mr Neilly was suffering from a minor illness and had been advised to rest.
It was expected that he would be back behind the mic "very soon", the source added.
Ulster defeated Connacht by 18 points to 10.
