The Whitefort Inn in west Belfast was the venue for a local version of the hit TV show 'Take Me Out' in aid of PIPS Suicide Awareness.
The venue was packed for the night - which was hosted by Dale Thomas - and after expenses almost £1,500 was raised for the charity.
PIPS has been delivering suicide prevention training since 2008.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "In today's world everything is so fast and furious that sometimes we don't see what is right in front of our eyes.
"Many families bereaved through suicide regret that they had not been trained to recognise signs that something was wrong.
"Our training is aimed at ordinary members of the community because suicide can affect us all and suicide prevention should be everyone's business.
"With local people trained to be more aware of the risk of suicide and the sources of help available, our communities will be safer."
