A section of the M2 was closed last night after an accident involving an articulated lorry.

A Goodfella's Pizza lorry had jack-knifed across the motorway on the hill near Glengormley around 10pm.

Country-bound lanes of the motorway were closed between Junction 2 at Greencastle and Junction 4 at Sandyknowes.

A PSNI spokesman said that diversions had been put in place while efforts were made to recover the lorry and clear the carriageway for traffic. There were no reports of any injuries.
