James Gibson murder: Man arrested over 1982 killing of former UDR man released
A man arrested in connection with the 1982 murder of James Gibson in the Coalisland area of Co Tyrone has been released.
The 54-year-old was arrested by PSNI officers from the Legacy Investigation Branch on Monday.
Mr Gibson, who has been in the Ulster Defense Regiment, was shot dead by the IRA while driving a school bus in Coalisland.
He had stopped at a crossroads when he was shot and later died in hospital.
Gibson, a widower with seven children, had resigned from the UDR in 1980.
The 54-year-old was released on Wednesday pending a report to the PPS.
