Jewellery stolen in Templepatrick house burglary

Police in Antrim are appealing for witnesses following a burglary of a house in the Antrim Road area of Templepatrick.

It was reported that sometime between 10am on Friday and 8.30am on Saturday entry was gained to the premises and a number of rooms were rummaged through. 

A quantity of jewellery of sentimental value was stolen.

Detective Constable Harrington said: “We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area involving people or vehicles, or anyone who may have information about the incident to contact detectives at Antrim on 101 quoting reference number 307 of 15/04/17. 

"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
