A man has appeared in court charged with murder following a stabbing in Craigavon.
Daniel McCartney (20) faced the charge at Lisburn Magistrates Court yesterday.
David Neill was attacked during a confrontation in the Parkmore area in the early hours of Sunday. The 45-year-old was treated at the scene but died later in hospital. A police officer said he believed he could connect McCartney to the charge.
However, a barrister for the accused said that, while in custody, his client had consistently denied stabbing Mr Neill. He said McCartney also denied having a knife in his possession on the night of the attack. He was remanded in custody.
