One of the north coast's best known hotels has been put into administration, it has been reported.

The Ramada in Portrush went into administration on Thursday, according to a BBC report.

East Londonderry MP Gregory Campbell told the broadcaster that he feared the move could see the hotel sold off at significant discount.

The BBC said it had received no comment from the agency.
