Liam Neeson to be voice of God on advertisement
Liam Neeson has landed his biggest role yet - as the voice of God.
The Ballymena-born Taken star has joined Slumdog Millionaire director Richard Curtis to help promote the United Nations' Global Goals campaign.
Curtis has helped create a cinema ad narrated by Neeson that will be shown in cinemas in more than 30 countries.
The film, produced by Wallace and Gromit animators Aardman and featuring a llama, is designed to spread the word about the UN's goals to eradicate global poverty and injustice as well as promote women's rights and fight climate change.
The set of goals is to be agreed by 193 leaders this month and have been backed by Meryl Streep, Stephen Hawking and Bill Gates.
