Police are investigating the sudden death of a man in Londonderry.

The body of Conall Kerrigan was discovered in the Bank Place area of Derry on Sunday night.

Police believe Mr Kerrigan had been in the city's Metro Bar on Saturday night and left around 2am on Sunday.

Detectives are treating the death as unexplained at this stage.

They appealed for anyone to come forward who saw Mr Kerrigan after he left the bar or who witnessed any form of altercation on the city walls close to the Millennium Forum.
