Major Seamus Heaney exhibition set for the Republic
A major exhibition of manuscripts and unpublished poems by the late Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney is to open at the Dublin's National Library of Ireland in early 1918.
Organisers anticipate that more than 100,000 people per year will visit the landmark collection in College Green.
The news comes as it was revealed that Stormont's Department for Infrastructure is planning to drive a new road project through the rural south Londonderry townlands around Bellaghy where the poet grew up, and from where he drew inspiration for many of his poems.
The plan has been heavily criticised by lovers of the late poet's writings.
