Man (20s) in hospital after being struck by bus in west Belfast
A 20-year-old pedestrian is being treated in hospital after he was struck by a bus in west Belfast
It happened shortly after 11.30pm on the Andersonstown Road on Monday night.
Police said he was taken to hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service got the call at around 23.35.
They responded to a report of a male in his 20s hit by a bus.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
In a statement Translink said: "A Metro vehicle was involved in a RTA with a pedestrian on Andersonstown Road at around 11.40 last night, March 2. There were no passengers on board the bus at the time.
"Emergency services attended the scene and the young male pedestrian was taken to hospital."
"We will be assisting the PSNI with their investigations.”
