Man aged 56 found dead in house

Police are investigating the death of a 56-year-old man whose body was found in a house.

The dead man, named as Rimantis Tamosiunas, was discovered at the property on Catherine Street in Newry at around 8pm yesterday.

Police said a post-mortem examination is due to take place to determine cause of death.

The senior investigating officer, Detective Inspector Jill Duffie, said: "We are keen to trace the movements of the deceased in the hours leading up to his death. We would like to hear from anyone who knows him or who may have seen him at any time on Saturday."
