Man arrested after cannabis worth £160,000 is seized in Enniskillen

Police have arrested a 28-year-old man following the seizure of suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of £160,000 in Enniskillen.

The drug was found in the Wellington Road area on Tuesday.

In a follow up search of a house in Old Rosorry Road, Enniskillen, drugs paraphenalia was also seized.

And in a further search of a house in Benburb Street, Belfast, suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £10,000 and drugs paraphenalia was also seized.

The 28-year-old man remains in police custody.

Inspector Roy Robinson, Sector Commander, Enniskillen, said: "The seizures which took place yesterday were successful in taking these drugs off the streets.

"We are determined to work with the communities and partner agencies to bring people before the courts."

He appealed to anyone with information on illegal drugs to contact police on 0845 600 800 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
