Man arrested after Lurgan stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Lurgan.

Police are questioning the man, 28, after the attack in the Brookvale Walk area of the town on Saturday afternoon.

A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious stab wounds, where his condition was described as stable.

Another man, in his 30s, was later taken to hospital for treatment to one stab wound and was later discharged.

Police have appealed for information.
