Man arrested over murder of Lithuanian found dead in garage

A man has been arrested over the murder of a Lithuanian found dead in a garage in Northern Ireland.

Detectives investigating the death of Gediminas Stauskas, 32, in Coalisland last week detained a 34-year-old on Thursday morning.

The victim's body was discovered in the Moor Road area on October 15.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison, from PSNI Serious Crime Branch, said: "The suspect had been arrested last Tuesday night in Portadown as part of a separate investigation into two shootings in Newry last month.

"He will now be interviewed at Musgrave police station about the murder of Mr Stauskas."
