Man arrested over Northern Ireland paramilitary activity
A man has been arrested by police investigating loyalist paramilitary activity.
The 36-year-old was arrested in Belfast on Friday.
Detective Inspector Darren McCartney said the arrest was in connection with an ongoing investigation into loyalist paramilitary activity in the South East Antrim area.
"He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite where he is currently helping police with their enquiries," he added.
Police have not detailed the activity under investigation.
There has been a ongoing loyalist feud in the Carrickfergus area which led to the killing of Ex-UDA boss Geordie Gilmore.
