Man arrested over 'suspicious' death in Co Down

Police are treating the death of a man in his 40s in Co Down as suspicious.

His body was found at a house in the Ballydavey Cottages area of Holywood on Sunday.

Police Service of Northern Ireland Detective Superintendent Eamonn Corrigan said a post mortem examination would be carried out later, but the death was being treated as suspicious at this stage.

A 53-year-old man has been arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
