Man assaulted in early morning attack in East Belfast

Police in Strandtown are appealing for information following the report of an assault on a 28-year-old man.

It happened in the Newtownards Road area, close to the junction of St Leonard's Street at approximately 2.45am on Monday, May 6.

The man sustained multiple facial injuries and bruising.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them at Strandtown on 0845 600 8000.
