Man charged over Belfast city centre hijacking in November 2014
A man has been charged with numerous offences after a hijacking in Belfast city centre over eight months ago.
The 28-year-old was charged on Friday by police investigating a hijacking on Talbot Street on November 24, 2014.
He faces charges of hijacking, aggravated taking and driving away, possession of an offensive weapon, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, obstruction, driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance.
He was initially arrested on December 4, 2014 and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The accused is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on August 14.
