Man charged over stabbing death

A man has been charged with murdering an East Timorese victim in Northern Ireland.

Luis Nazario Ximenes, 36, is believed to have been stabbed to death in Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

Police said the suspect, 34, had been accused of murder and would appear in court in Omagh.

Mr Ximenes had been living and working in Dungannon. The PSNI launched a major investigation into the killing in the Woodvale Park area of the town.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to come forward and have set up a special incident room at Dungannon police station.
