Man charged with drug offences after trio collapse in Belfast

A man has been charged with drug offences after three men were found unconscious in Belfast city centre on Saturday night.

The 33-year-old was been charged with possession of a class A controlled drug and possession of a class A controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday 6 January.

Police had responded to calls that three men were unconscious in Donegall Pass just before 9pm on Saturday.

One of the men was initially described as critically ill but all three have since been released from hospital.
