A man in his 20s is critically ill after being stabbed in Co Armagh.

Police said the attack followed an altercation with a motorist at Clanrolla Park, Craigavon, on Thursday at about 7pm.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

The suspect was detained in the Dungannon area.

Police Service of Northern Ireland Inspector Lynsey Barr has appealed for any witnesses to come forward on 101.
