Man due in court over spate of robberies in Co Down
A 37-year-old man is due in court charged over a series of robberies in Co Down.
The charges relate to a number of thefts from cars and a burglary in the Loughbrickland area on Saturday.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with five counts of theft, burglary, handling stolen goods and interference with vehicles.
Following the robberies from cars, police have advised the public to make sure valuables such as laptops and handbags are not visible as an "open invitation to opportunist thieves".
