Man held in 'fuel laundering' probe

One man has been arrested after the discovery of a suspected fuel laundering plant in South Armagh.

The 52-year-old is being questioned about alleged waste and contaminated land offences.

He was detained during a joint operation between the PSNI and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency in the Loughross Road area this morning.

A police spokesman said the suspect was assisting officers with their inquiries.

Customs officials have also been notified about the find.
