Man held over bomb attack freed

A 43-year-old man who was arrested as part of a police investigation into a bomb attack on a Northern Ireland police station 15 years ago has been released unconditionally.

He was detained in the Moy area of Co Armagh on Thursday morning.

Eleven people were injured and extensive damage was caused when the car bomb exploded outside the unmanned police station in Moira, Co Down, on February 20 1998.

The car had been packed with more than 200kg of explosives.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
