Man held over informer murder freed
A prominent dissident republican arrested over the murder of IRA informer Denis Donaldson has been released without charge.
Gary Donnelly, in his 40s and a member of the 32 County Sovereignty Movement, is from Londonderry but was arrested in the Irish Republic on Saturday.
A file on the case is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
He was freed on Monday afternoon at about 4pm.
Mr Donaldson was shot dead at a remote cottage in Donegal in April 2006.
Just months earlier, the former Sinn Fein official publicly admitted being a British agent inside the republican movement for more than 20 years.
