Man killed after car crashes into lorry in Co Fermanagh
A man in his 30s has died following a two vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh.
He was killed after his car collided with a lorry at around 1.30pm on the Wattlebridge Road near Newtownbutler on Tuesday.
The road remains closed and diversions have been put in place.
The man's death brings the death toll on Northern Ireland's roads to 74.
This is a marked increase on last year's total of 56 for the entire year.
In recent weeks there has been a stark increase in road deaths across the country.
On November 20 a 48-year-old motorcyclist who was injured in a crash in Co Fermanagh died in hospital.
Bryan Bernard Lynch, 48, was from the Enniskillen area.
His black Kawasaki motorbike collided with a blue Vauxhall Vectra shortly before 4.50pm on Saturday, on the A4 road between Lisbellaw and Tamlaght.
Meanwhile a Lisburn man injured in a crash on the Old Ballynahinch Road on October 28 2014, also died from his injuries in hospital.
Ian Bailie was 66-years-old and from Back Road, Lisburn.
Before that male cyclist John Flynn was killed on November 12 following a serious crash with a lorry on the A1 between Dromore and Hillsborough in Co Down.
