Man killed as car hits horse

A man has died after the car he was travelling in collided with a horse.

Four other men in the Renault Scenic were injured, one seriously, in the crash outside Omagh.

The horse was also killed in the incident at around 12.30am on the Doogary Road.

Police have appealed for the owner of the animal to contact them.

The seriously injured man was said to be in a stable condition in hospital. The other three have injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
