Man killed in Belfast Upper Malone Road crash

A man, aged in his 30s, has died following a one vehicle crash on the Upper Malone Road in Belfast.

The fatal collision, involving a silver coloured Peugeot 307 car, occurred at around 9.30pm on Thursday.

The car left the road and struck a tree. The road was closed for a number of hours following the collision but has since reopened.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene.

PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit is keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area of the Milltown Road/Upper Malone Road just prior to the time of the collision and who may have seen the Peugeot in the area. The number to call is 101.
