Man killed in fall onto cattle gear
A man in his 70s has died in an accident at a farm in County Tyrone.
Inspectors from the Health and Safety Executive are investigating the fatality which happened near Dungannon at about 8.30pm on Friday.
Harry Sinclair, the president of the Ulster Farmers' Union, said it was a difficult time for Northern Ireland's farmers.
Ten people have been killed in farming accidents since April, including Ulster rugby player Nevin Spence, his brother Graham and their father Noel.
The three died in a slurry pit near Hillsborough last month.
Mr Sinclair said the latest death was another tragedy for the industry.
It is understood the pensioner died after falling into a piece of cattle feeding equipment.
"It appears to have been a very unfortunate accident that has happened and it has led to the tragic death of another farmer," Mr Sinclair told BBC Northern Ireland.
"Over the last two years now it's been averaging nearly one a month. It's a very tragic number."
