Man on Twelfth petrol bomb charge
A Belfast man allegedly threw petrol bombs during Twelfth of July trouble within hours of being released on a charge of trying to damage a police vehicle, Belfast Magistrates court heard yesterday.
Gary Kelly is accused in connection with disorder on the Ormeau Road. The 20-year-old, from Lavinia Mews, faces charges of making, possessing and throwing petrol bombs.
A police constable claimed Kelly became involved within four hours of being released on police bail over an incident a day earlier.
Kelly faces separate charges of disorderly behaviour and attempted criminal damage to the window of a PSNI vehicle on July 11. He was |remanded in custody to next month.
